Powered by AMD EPYC 7003 and 9004 series CPUs â multi-core, high-throughput processors built for demanding server workloads.
Your OS and applications run on a dedicated NVMe SSD â lightning-fast boot times, snappy database queries, and zero I/O bottlenecks for your active workload.
Up to 16 TB of high-capacity block storage in a RAID-6 array with NVMe caching â redundant, reliable, and optimized for sequential throughput and large file access.
Massive 10 Gbps uplinks with generous transfer allowances â up to 80 TB per month â ideal for streaming, syncing, and transferring large volumes of data.
Always-on volumetric attack mitigation with up to 3.6 Tbps of scrubbing capacity. Traffic is filtered at the network edge with sub-millisecond added latency.
Complete control over your environment via KVM virtualization. Install any OS, configure custom kernels, set up NFS mounts, and manage your HDD volume exactly as you need.
Pure NVMe VPS servers excel at speed but are expensive at scale. Pure HDD servers offer capacity but struggle with application performance. The Hybrid Storage VPS eliminates this compromise.
Your operating system, databases, and application code live on the dedicated NVMe disk. Queries, process spawning, and random I/O remain fast regardless of how much data you store.
Media libraries, archives, backups, and bulk files sit on the RAID-6 HDD volume. RAID-6 can survive two simultaneous drive failures, giving you enterprise-grade data redundancy at a fraction of the cost of all-NVMe storage.
The RAID-6 array is fronted by an NVMe cache layer. Hot data that is accessed frequently is served at NVMe speeds, dramatically improving throughput for active files even on the spinning-disk tier.
Storage Architecture Breakdown
Ultra-low latency · Random IOPS optimized
Dual-parity redundancy · NVMe-cached hot reads
Wherever you need terabytes of reliable storage alongside real server performance, the Hybrid VPS delivers.
Store and stream your entire 4K media library. The NVMe handles transcoding while the HDD holds terabytes of content. Serve multiple simultaneous streams without a hiccup.
Run Nextcloud, Seafile, or Owncloud on your own terms. Replace expensive third-party cloud subscriptions with a private cloud you fully own, for a fraction of the cost.
Use it as a central off-site backup target for multiple systems. Deploy Restic, BorgBackup, or Veeam with terabytes of reliable RAID-6 storage underneath your retention policies.
Host game servers with expansive world files â Minecraft, ARK, DayZ, and others generate huge data over time. Store world saves, mods, and full backups without storage anxiety.
Run analytics databases, time-series stores, or logging stacks that grow to terabyte scale. The NVMe handles hot query indices while the HDD volume absorbs the data growth.
Queue and process large batch encoding jobs using ffmpeg or Handbrake. Source files and finished output live on the spacious HDD volume while the NVMe drives the active encode at full speed â no bottlenecks, no storage compromises.
Your server is managed through VirtFusion â a modern, highly responsive control panel that puts every crucial function right at your fingertips. Monitor storage I/O, rebuild your OS, and manage your disks without ever opening a support ticket.
Monitor CPU usage, disk I/O across both storage tiers, and live network throughput with real-time graphs.
Locked yourself out? Boot into a rescue environment or use the native VNC console to recover your system without data loss.
Install your preferred operating system with a single click from VirtFusion. All templates are maintained and updated regularly.
Also supporting: Arch Linux, SUSE, Oracle Linux, and Custom ISO integration.
Protect your infrastructure against downtime and reputation loss. The question is not if, but when you will face a DDoS attack. Our zero-loss technology ensures your applications remain online and reachable.
Traffic is permanently routed through our protection layer. Mitigation begins instantly without any upstream analysis or switchover delay.
With up to 3.6 Tbps capacity, volumetric attacks are dropped at the network edge, while our scrubbing center applies granular Layer 4 through Layer 7 filtering.
* DDoS protection and capacity may vary between services and location.
Your data deserves better than luck. Our backup add-on brings automated, block-level backups directly into your VirtFusion panel â no maintenance windows, no disruption to your running workloads.
Backups run while your VM stays fully online using intelligent consistency detection. Your applications never go offline â not even briefly.
The system manages backup chains automatically â full baselines followed by lean incremental snapshots to keep storage overhead minimal.
Browse your full backup history and restore any point in time from VirtFusion â no ticket required.

The NVMe SSD is your primary boot disk â this is where your operating system, applications, and databases run. It provides ultra-low latency and high random IOPS for everything speed-critical. The HDD block storage is a separately attached volume you mount and use for bulk data: media libraries, backups, large files, or anything where capacity matters more than raw speed. Think of it as your server's fast SSD paired with a massive external drive.
RAID-6 is a redundancy configuration where data is striped across multiple drives with two independent parity blocks. This means the array can survive two simultaneous drive failures without any data loss â providing significantly higher reliability than a single disk or RAID-5. The NVMe caching layer sits in front of the HDD array and serves frequently accessed (hot) data at NVMe speeds, improving read throughput for active files while the underlying HDDs handle sequential writes and cold data at their native speed.
The HDD volume is presented as a raw block device inside your VPS (typically /dev/vdb or similar). You format it with any filesystem you prefer â ext4, XFS, ZFS, Btrfs â and mount it to any directory. From that point on, it behaves exactly like a local disk. You can use it as a Plex media directory, a Nextcloud data path, an NFS share, or simply a large mountpoint for bulk storage.
A standard Cloud VPS uses all-NVMe storage â extremely fast, but expensive at high capacities. A Hybrid Storage VPS trades some random I/O performance on the bulk storage tier for dramatically more capacity at a much lower per-gigabyte cost. If your workload needs terabytes of data alongside real compute performance â and you don't need every byte to be NVMe-fast â the Hybrid VPS gives you the best cost-to-capacity ratio without sacrificing application speed.
Yes. Every Hybrid Storage VPS comes with full root access. You can install any software, configure custom kernels, set up NFS exports, and manage your storage volumes exactly as you need. The entire environment is yours to control.
Both products offer large HDD-based storage, but they serve different purposes. A Storagebox is a shared hosting environment powered by DirectAdmin, LiteSpeed, and PHP. It can host websites, run Nextcloud via Softaculous, and accept file transfers over FTP, SFTP, and rSync â but it runs on shared infrastructure with no root access and no dedicated CPU or RAM. It is optimised for straightforward, high-capacity storage at the lowest possible cost.
A Hybrid Storage VPS is a fully isolated KVM virtual machine with dedicated vCPUs, dedicated RAM, and full root access. You have complete control over the OS and can run any software stack you choose. The large RAID-6 HDD block volume is yours alone, paired with a fast NVMe boot disk for the OS and active workloads. Choose a Storagebox for simple, managed high-capacity hosting; choose a Hybrid Storage VPS when you need full server control alongside terabytes of storage.
From 1 TB to 16 TB. NVMe performance where it matters, massive capacity where you need it. Deployed in Frankfurt, Germany with enterprise DDoS protection included.
